Vitamin D Deficiency Treatment Spray

Vitamin D is a vitamin and pro hormone that is synthesised by the body when our skin is exposed to UV light. Less than 10% of our supply comes from natural foods. As our bodies were developing, many thousands of years ago this was a simple and straight-forward process.

However, in the last hundred years we have been retreating more and more away from the sun. Modern life now dictates that we spend most of our daylight hours either indoors, covered up, under glass or protecting our neglected skin with sun creams. This means that the majority of us are deficient in vitamin D and that's not good.

Vitamin D3 is a fat soluble vitamin, so we have developed DLux1000 to be oil-based (coconut oil as a medium chain triglyceride), so enhancing it's absorption within the body. The oil is suspended in solution using sunflower lecithin ensuring a perfectly even distribution, from the first spray to the last.

By applying it directly into the mouth, ideally under the tongue, it is absorbed directly through the mucous membrane into the blood system rather than having to be processed by the digestive system and major organs. This ensures no loss during the absorption process. The solution has been microemulsified to ensure the particle size is optimal for absorption in this way.

Because our digestive efficiency is not always assured, particularly when we are unwell or out of sorts, DLux1000 bypasses the digestive system offering the fastest way of absorbing the vitamin. 

Ingredients
Purified water, xylitol (natural sweetener), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3 in coconut oil), sunflower lecithin, peppermint oil, natural preservative: potassium sorbate.

Provides a guaranteed 1000IU per single measured spray. This has been formulated as an ambient spray and does not require refrigeration.

The source of vitamin D3 is Lanolin. This has been sourced from the wool of sheep living in Australia, Spain and Wales.

During Winter months and when sunlight exposure is limited or unavailable we recommend one spray per 25kg of bodyweight. An average of 3 sprays daily should be sufficient to maintain healthy levels. More may be required to build up healthy levels. Please seek advice regarding your vitamin D levels.
